IGES file viewer
     CAD Exchanger can read and visualize IGES files.

IGES to STEP converter
     CAD Exchanger can read IGES files and convert them to STEP files.

IGES to ACIS-SAT converter
     CAD Exchanger can read IGES files and convert them to ACIS-SAT files.

IGES to BRep converter
     CAD Exchanger can read IGES files and convert them to BRep files.

IGES to STL converter
     CAD Exchanger can read IGES files and convert them to STL files.

IGES to VRML converter
     CAD Exchanger can read IGES files and convert them to VRML files.

IGES to IGES converter
     CAD Exchanger can read IGES files and convert them back to IGES format (e.g. modifying used shape representation such as Group of Trimmed Surfaces and Manifold Solid BRep.

IGES to X3D converter (work in progress)
     CAD Exchanger can read IGES files and convert them to X3D files.


Files in the IGES format typically have *.iges and *.igs file name extensions.

IGES reader (viewer and importer) supports the following scope of the IGES format:
-    IGES 5.0 (when faces are encoded as Trimmed Surfaces or Bounded Surfaces) and IGES 5.1+ (solid are encoded as Solids and faces as Faces)
-    Elementary, NURBS and other geometry (including extrusions, revolutions, etc)
-    Colors, names and layers attributes *

IGES reader (viewer and importer) offers the following user-defined options to fine tune reading process:
-    Model precision (accuracy)
-    Preferred face boundaries representation
